RALVON VIEW FINDER

We were very saddened to hear about the passing of Ralvon Viewfinder. A beautiful, graceful anglo mare who has left behind three sons, Claremont Park Horizon, Claremont Park Image and Claremont Park Galaxie.

View Finder was the last remaining Manning Kaddabra daughter owned by Claremont Park and will be sorely missed.

She is seen here with her last foal Galaxie.

KERRIBEE PARK

What a year so far!

Following her success at Canberra & EFA HOTY, Nottingham Fine Print has brought home a massive haul of ribbons and trophies from Sydney Royal.

She was the winner of the Led Arabian Derivative Mare and third in the Ridden Arabian Derivative.

Then in the Galloway ring,  Zoe won the Best Novice Galloway, the Open Lightweight 14.2 - 15hh and Reserve Champion Galloway.

Topping it off with the Crane Trophy!

This is now the second time Pam has won the Crane Trophy.
WILLOWCROFT OPEN DAY
A few Hunter Valley Arabian members were seen recently at the Open Day & Sale at Willowcroft Stud in beautiful Martinsville on the Central Coast.

Hosted by Amanda & Haley Jeffries and assisted by Andrew Buckley of EB Lodge, the crowd was treated to an array of horse flesh, stunning scenery and a wonderful spread of Hunter Valley cuisine.

It was nice to see garlands and rugs won by Willowcroft horses at recent Hunter Valley Arabian shows.

Congratulations to Amanda & Haley for an interesting day.

We look forward to next year.

GLENIAN PARK

Glenda Lovell writes...

Glenian Park Rare Delight, aka Sophie, has exceeded    expectations with her success in the last few months.   After her Supreme Derivative win at the NSW  Youngstock Show in December, Sophie has gone on to  winning the Riding Pony Filly Class at Sydney Royal as well as second in the Derivative Filly under 4 years and placing in two other classes for under 4 year olds.
She then followed that up with Supreme Part Welsh  and Champion Riding Pony at the Northern NSW  Youngstock Show at Maitland.
The 24th of May saw us at Morongla Foal and Youngstock Show (near Cowra). Sophie won Best Presented,  all of her breed classes then Champion in each section as well as Supreme Yearling and the Marnic Merrymaid Award for Supreme Pony Breed Exhibit.
Bryncyn Fair Lady has made her final apperance in the show ring at Sydney Royal where she placed in both of her classes. At 20 years of age and a former multi winner at Royal and HOTY level, she will make a lovely paddock ornament.
Our Buckskin Arabian Pony mare, Amaranda Evita has also had a very successful season, finishing with four 3rds  at Sydney Royal in ridden classes and placings in both her leds.
Finally, we have purchsed five year old Heaththrob Arabella, a lovely dark bay Arabian Riding Pony by Rathowen Parody. Belle is  multi registered and I am looking forward to showing her in the coming season.
BIRDWOOD ROMANZ

At our A Class Show in October 2009 the      winner of the Supremem Led All Breeds  Exhibit received a portrait of their horse by Maxine Manuel.
We were lucky to view the portrait of Jacqui Langfield's beautiful filly recently.
All who know Romanz agree that the likeness is uncanny.

Well done Maxine and congratulations Jacqui and Romanz.
