RALVON VIEW FINDER

We were very saddened to hear about the passing of Ralvon Viewfinder. A beautiful, graceful anglo mare who has left behind three sons, Claremont Park Horizon, Claremont Park Image and Claremont Park Galaxie.

View Finder was the last remaining Manning Kaddabra daughter owned by Claremont Park and will be sorely missed.

She is seen here with her last foal Galaxie.

WILLOWCROFT OPEN DAY
A few Hunter Valley Arabian members were seen recently at the Open Day & Sale at Willowcroft Stud in beautiful Martinsville on the Central Coast.

Hosted by Amanda & Haley Jeffries and assisted by Andrew Buckley of EB Lodge, the crowd was treated to an array of horse flesh, stunning scenery and a wonderful spread of Hunter Valley cuisine.

It was nice to see garlands and rugs won by Willowcroft horses at recent Hunter Valley Arabian shows.

Congratulations to Amanda & Haley for an interesting day.

We look forward to next year.

GLENIAN PARK

Glenda Lovell writes...

Glenian Park Rare Delight, aka Sophie, has exceeded    expectations with her success in the last few months.   After her Supreme Derivative win at the NSW  Youngstock Show in December, Sophie has gone on to  winning the Riding Pony Filly Class at Sydney Royal as well as second in the Derivative Filly under 4 years and placing in two other classes for under 4 year olds.
She then followed that up with Supreme Part Welsh  and Champion Riding Pony at the Northern NSW  Youngstock Show at Maitland.
The 24th of May saw us at Morongla Foal and Youngstock Show (near Cowra). Sophie won Best Presented,  all of her breed classes then Champion in each section as well as Supreme Yearling and the Marnic Merrymaid Award for Supreme Pony Breed Exhibit.
Bryncyn Fair Lady has made her final apperance in the show ring at Sydney Royal where she placed in both of her classes. At 20 years of age and a former multi winner at Royal and HOTY level, she will make a lovely paddock ornament.
Our Buckskin Arabian Pony mare, Amaranda Evita has also had a very successful season, finishing with four 3rds  at Sydney Royal in ridden classes and placings in both her leds.
Finally, we have purchsed five year old Heaththrob Arabella, a lovely dark bay Arabian Riding Pony by Rathowen Parody. Belle is  multi registered and I am looking forward to showing her in the coming season.
BIRDWOOD ROMANZ

At our A Class Show in October 2009 the      winner of the Supremem Led All Breeds  Exhibit received a portrait of their horse by Maxine Manuel.
We were lucky to view the portrait of Jacqui Langfield's beautiful filly recently.
All who know Romanz agree that the likeness is uncanny.

Well done Maxine and congratulations Jacqui and Romanz.
TAPU FROMAGE FRAIS

Best Ridden Coloured Exhibit at Sydney Royal 2010 was Tiffany White's lovely Palomino Arabian Riding Pony gelding. Paris is by Kilvington Scoundrel UK from Panteg Fairytale and is very lucky to be with us.
Paris was operated on in September 2009 with suspected colic. This was a direct result from a 2 year battle with stomach ulcers after ingesting 1/5th of a bag of cement from a break in to a stable construction site.
Vets at Agnes Banks surgery removed a 3.5kg enterolith (large calcified ball) fromParis not made from cement.
After a textbook 3 month recovery, he is back to his normal self and the proof is in the pudding!
Paris also won his Ridden Palomino class at Canberra Royal 2010.

Its great to see Tiffany and Paris back in form, Good Luck for the future.

NOTTINGHAM FINE PRINT & PAM BUSH

What can we say about Pammie and Zoe.

Sydney Royal 2010 saw the combination go Best Ridden  ANSA Exhibit, which followed on from winning the  same  award at Canberra Royal in February.

Then at the EFA Horse of The Year show, Zoe was the winner  of EFA Galloway of the Year for the second year running.

They seem to be unbeatable at the moment.  Look out for them at SHC Horse of the Year in October along with our A Class show at Salt Ash.
